The Best Paramotor Pack Ever Built. Guaranteed.

Introducing the all new - Uinta Adventure Pack! In the world of paramotoring one of the challenges we face is where to securely place your essentials so you can easily access them without the risk of sending them plummeting towards the earth. Pant pockets are rarely secured with a zipper and good luck trying to get anything out of them in flight without dropping it. Paramotor harness pockets are notoriously known for scratching screens, and trying to dig just one item out without losing the others is a serious challenge. A chest pack is a great solution, offering easy access in flight, a secure location to put all your items, and a comfortable fit for hours of use.

Commonly chest packs are either poorly designed and sold cheaply online or highly overpriced and very "gimmicky". Neither of them worked that great in the first place, let alone for flying paramotors. We set out to create a chest pack that was "function focused" and designed around actually being useful, not just looking cool. Developing this pack didn't happen overnight, and is the result of nearly 12 months of testing, trying and tweaking every inch from top to bottom. We are proud to say we believe we have built the ultimate paramotor pack.

The 4 Main Benefits Of The Uinta Chest Pack:

1.) Effortless access to your cell phone.

The phone pocket was designed to be effortless to access, anytime, anywhere, one handed, two handed, with gloves, or without. Starting with the shape, it's designed to make it easy for the zipper to glide back and forth without resistance, without sticking, and without bunching up. The pocket is also lined with a stiffener rod to ensure the pocket holds shape and avoids being deformed during use. The zippers themselves are YKK zippers, the highest quality and smoothest pull out there. The pocket size is perfect, not too big, not too small, just right to fit any sized phone without having to dig for it. Being able to easily access your phone pocket isn't just "nice," it's night and day better.

2.) Straps that don't slap you in the face (finally).

There is nothing worse than a beautiful moment getting disrupted by a strap smacking you in the face. The reality is that when we're flying, things are moving, shaking, and dancing in the wind. The Uinta pack is built with this in mind, ensuring every strap has a convenient and easy way to secure the excess strap. Sounds like a small thing, and it is, but not getting smacked in the face all flight is also VERY nice. And remember, it's the small things that make the big differences!

3.) Slim, light, and comfortable (even in a harness).

When we built the Uinta Pack we wanted you to be able to wear it for hours without noticing you even had it on. Sounds simple but good design is key to making any pack comfortable. Firstly is the shape and size, it can't be too big, too tall, or too wide without becoming bulky and uncomfortable. Secondly is weight distribution, how does the weight sit and where does the weight sit. Put weight too far out, too low, or improperly balanced the back and it begins straining your lower back. Third is overall weight, too heavy and it pulls, too light and it's weak. There's a balance, a sweet spot, and a science to ensuring it's so dang comfortable you don't even realize it's on.

4.) A truly modular design.

Our goal was simple: give you more ways to carry everything you need. Starting at the top, we added two rugged plastic loops—one on each side. Whether it’s keys, a phone lanyard, or a Garmin device, these loops make it easy to keep your essentials within reach. We placed them on both sides for two reasons: because most people carry multiple items, and because left-handed users deserve just as much consideration. Next, we equipped the pack with two MOLLE straps on each side. These heavy-duty straps are compatible with our custom-made pockets, radio holders, or any MOLLE-equipped pouches you prefer. Attach a radio, spare gear, flashlight, bear spray or whatever else keeps you moving.

Additional Attachment Options:
Spare pocket
Radio pocket
Hand warmer
Velcro holster

More attachments are being developed.

Why "Uinta" and not "Backcountry PPG"?

Great question! Uinta Packs is actually a company owned by Backcountry PPG. It's a separate company for one main reason: to be able to develop products beyond just the paramotor community. In the design process we realized that this pack served more than just paramotor pilots, it also served people who liked being outdoors, fishing, hiking, hunting, etc and by branding it something other than Backcountry PPG, we would be able to sell it to that market as well. Regardless of which website you order from, it ships from the same team, same place, and cost the exact same.
