One Word to Describe the Spyder 3 is - EASY.
Launching is effortless, landing is easy, and flying is fun. The Spyder 3 is designed with lightweight material making it one of the easiest wings to launch on the market. Seriously it's so easy to inflate that just by thinking about flying and the wing is already over your head. Because of how easy it is to inflate we believe this is one of the best paramotor wings on the market for new pilots. Even when mistakes happen, the Spyder 3 will just keep on going.
One thing we have learned in the last decade of flying paramotors is that when you are new, the most important wing characteristic is how easy it is to launch and land. If you struggle to launch your wing, slowly you will stop flying it and that's why we recommend the Spyder 3. It's so easy it's almost stupid and we've watched too many people stop flying because their wing was hard to fly.
Another thing we love about the Spyder 3 is that the performance will grow with you as you grow as a pilot. Meaning, in 50 hours when you are ready for more than just cruising around and looking at the view, this wing can give it to you. With the tip steer tied in this wing can become a very fun, playful, and forgiving wing. Learning wingovers, building your energy management skills, and venturing on longer cross-country flights is effortless with the Ozone Spyder 3.
The other important thing to consider is safety. The Ozone Spyder 3 is a very low B, meaning, it was almost A-rated. The way EN certifications work is if even 1 of the 128 tests comes back as a B, then the whole wing gets certified as a B. The Spyder 3 is one of those wings that was barely rated a B. What this means is that it's a very stable, safe, and forgiving wing that will save your butt if you ever find yourself in nasty weather conditions.
If you are a new pilot looking for your first or even your second wing, the Ozone Spyder 3 is a great option.
