4 Day Advanced Beach Kiting/Flying Clinic
Introducing our new 4-day paramotor beach kiting & flying clinic! This clinic is not regularly hosted, and will only be available for a limited time. We are only scheduled to host one class this season. This clinic is designed to offer paramotor pilots a way to improve their high wind kiting & flying skills. The clinic is hosted on the coastline of Corpus Christi, Texas which offers consistently strong wind conditions which allow for hours of kiting practice uninterrupted (and without sprinting down the field).
During this clinic you'll also get the glorious opportunity to spend time flying your paramotor in stronger wind conditions. This will allow you to practice your reverse launches, high wind landings, and how to disable a glider in strong wind conditions. Plus, you'll get to do so many touch and goes you'll lose count - literally. Flying in stronger wind isn't just great practice - it's insanely fun.
By the end of the 4 days you'll be exhausted - in a great way.
If you're looking for a way to "sharpen the sword" aka improve your foundational paramotor skills - look no further. This particular training location is the best we've ever found for practicing what we call "foundational skills." If you want to improve your kiting, reverse launches, and overall higher wind skills, then this is the clinic for you.

Adventure Training vs This Clinic:
Our 5-day Adventure training and this clinic are very different experiences and you'll learn very different skills. The Adventure Training is almost exclusively focused on flying: launches, landings, energy management, and of course guided adventure flights. Whereas this clinic is focused on your foundational skills: kiting, launches, landings, touch & goes, etc.
One Time Opportunity:
This training Clinic is not something we regularly host or plan to host. With an open gap in our schedule - our team is excited to be able to offer this to a limited number of students. This may be one of your only opportunities to join us for some beach flying and kiting in the near future.

Who This Clinic Is For:
This training clinic is great for pilots who are feeling like they could use some help improving their launches, landings, and overall kiting skills. We refer to these skills as the "foundational skills" and are extremely important to focus on and continue to improve regardless of skill level. This training is to be a great way for pilots of all levels to come and improve their skills - one on one. We welcome pilots with as little as 10 flights.
Why Glider Control Is So Important:
It is well known in the community that the better you are at kiting, the better you will be as a paramotor pilot. It is the foundational skill of flying paramotors, and if your kiting skills are weak, the rest of the "structure" is weak as well. Kiting is insanely valuable because it teaches you the ins and outs of how the glider works. How it stalls, how it collapses, how to recover from both, how to prevent both, etc. Learning the ins and outs of kiting is often overlooked, as people commonly see it as simply a "means to an end." However, that is so far from the truth. You want flying to be easy? You want flying to be fun? And most importantly, you want it to be safe? It all starts with being good at kiting.

Paramotoring:
We will be doing some flying during this clinic, which will bring lots of fun training opportunities! There is not a lot to explore in this area, unlike our Adventure Training courses, but the location is phenomenal for touch and go practice, and other similar things. Think of this location and the ultimate place to tune up your skills, because it is. Spend endless amount of hours a day kiting, flying, kiting more, and of course flying even more. Weather permitting, beach flying can be an all day experience and the training goes hand in hand. In our experience there is no better place for pure raw practice. Dial in your skills, get some experience, and have fun doing so.
Location:
This training is going to be held on the beach/coast of Corpus Christi, Texas. This particular location consistently had stronger wind conditions, which is what we are in pursuit of. More information on our exact training location, recommended lodging, logistics, etc will be sent upon your registration, or can be sent upon request. Please reach out if you'd like additional information.
Logistics:
You are responsible for the lodging and transportation during the class. There are hotels and Airbnbs within 5-10 minutes of the training field we will be using. If you are planning to fly into this training, you will fly into Corpus Christi International Airport, which is about 25-35 minutes away from the training field. More information on lodging and the exact location will be sent upon your registration, or can be sent upon request.

Midnight Kiting Session:
One of the things we will be doing during this training course is a midnight kiting session. Ok, it may not actually be at midnight, but we will be doing a late night kiting session with lights, music, food, and of course a bonfire! Bring your lights, bring your night eyes, and let's have some fun kiting under the stars! (this is seriously FUN)
Kiting War:
We will be hosting a kiting war with all of the students. This is great fun and a way of testing everyone's glider control skills. Our instructors will also be challenging the winner of the kiting war for good fun, but will not be competing in the primary kiting war or for the trophy. These kiting wars are a very fun way of being challenged and tested with your overall kiting skills!

Dune Soaring:
One of the cool parts of the training location we have choosen, is there are some small dunes that can be "lightly" soared during the class if conditions are right. These small dunes if anything else can be a place for students to run and jump off, getting a short and fun flight. They are nothing crazy, but they give that feeling of flying and challenge the student's ability to keep the glider under control. If you're struggling with control, the small but mighty dune will most certainly show you that. It is not guaranteed that you will get to do any soaring or climbing on the dune, as we will only do so if you have the kiting skills and we have the correct conditions to safely do so.

Equipment:
We have a wide variety of equipment available for rent during this course. We have a slew of motors, from Atom 80's to Moster 185 plus. Motor rental is $100 per day and does not include damages. We do not rent wings for this course.
Bad Weather:
The one thing we cannot control is weather, despite all the weather dances we do. This being said, we cannot control whether we will have good weather or not. With this in mind please be patient and understanding with us if your class is hit with some rougher weather conditions. Historically November is a great time of year in Corpus Christi, Texas and we are expecting to have some great conditions. We will travel and adjust our training hours throughout the day to maximize our training time.
Non-Refundable:
This training clinic is non-refundable and we don't have any plan to schedule another in the near future. Please only register if you're serious about attending. Thank you!
